FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Apr. 13, 2023 – This week, Riphean Investments’ Vice President of Operations, Victor Fuster served as a panelist at the King George Young Entrepreneurship Forum hosted by the King George Economic Development & Tourism (KGED&T) office on April 11, 2023. The event was held at King George High School and, in addition to Fuster, featured four other panelists: Gary Butler of Exit Strategy Realty, Ernisha Hall and Tracey Hall of NIRAY and Virginia Black Business Directory, and Rob Quartel of NTELX.
The event on Tuesday was moderated by Nicholas Minor, Director of Economic Development and Tourism. This was the first Young Entrepreneurship Forum hosted by the KGED&T in partnership with King George County Schools and Phoenix Advantage LLC, and panelists shared their experiences in running a business, entrepreneurship, and marketing. The discussion also touched on the current state of the market and industry conditions.
“It was inspiring to see so many students interested in entrepreneurship at this year’s forum,” stated Fuster. “Mentoring the next generation of business leaders is a key component of our firm’s values and I was proud to share my experiences and insights.”
The forum was one of several recent events that Riphean Investments has participated in. Most recently, Fuster spoke in a panel hosted by the Stafford EDA and the University of Mary Washington’s Small Business Development Center, where he shared his expertise in running and growing small businesses with leaders of government contracting firms. The leadership team, including partners Joel Griffin and Brian DeMuth, also attended the High School Innovation Challenge at Dahlgren.
